Update your website&Fb page. If you are closed for the season then make that known,dont lie to the public. You said your last day was labor day but had to travel all the way to Jonesboro to find out you closed for the season. Unacceptable.
Despite allegedly being run by the city of Jonesboro, they evidently aren't professional enough to update their website. Says theyre open. They're not. Pool is supposed to be open until the 3rd weekend in August. Its not. Just go ahead and remove any info about this place from the website altogether since apparently users can't trust what it says. It's really gone down hill in recent years. The prices are ridiculous. For 2 kids and 2 adults to get in it was 18 dollars and the concession prices weren't any better. Also, we got there at open and the pool wasn't even skimmed with the net yet and a bunch of bugs and clumps of hair was in there. I'd use this pool to go do some swimming for myself but bringing kids isn't a good idea to me. It's just not kid friendly enough and cost 14 bucks to get 2 nachos and 2 drinks. We love the Jonesboro pool! Their swimming lessons have been super helpful to our son. Great facilities.
