We visited for a special occasion Sunday Roast, and while the service was good, with very kind and attentive staff—the food was unfortunately a letdown. Almost every element lacked flavour; the potatoes were dry, the meat was too fatty, and the veg was cold. We also found the Yorkshire puddings to be doughy and the gravy very watery. It was disappointing to have such a poor experience and will not be returning.

Visited here for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch; while the food was outstanding the service was slow with waiting staff particularly unwelcoming.

I had my wedding after-party here and it was an all-round great experience! There was a small misunderstanding at one point, but the team handled it really well and resolved everything quickly for us. We truly appreciated how professionally it was dealt with. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this venue :)

Took 15 for Sunday lunch …. It’s an interesting place with a cellar style atmosphere downstairs… the roast was ok nothing special, we felt it was cooked too far in advance and not fresh. The servers tried hard but we had to keep reminding them of drinks etc …. It’s a pretty cold restaurant as we were hosted upstairs with the door constantly opening as people smoke outside. Wouldn’t rebook.
