Our beautiful daughter suffered a horrific birth injury due to medical negligence. Unbeknownst to us, the delivering physician had “opted into” the Virginia Birth Injury Fund, meaning that we were unable to pursue litigation; being admitted into the fund was the only way to achieve a semblance of justice for our daughter.
