Dr Omar and SM Veterinary Group are the best in the business. I had a previous vet in SM and shopped around when i wasn’t happy with the result. SM veterinary is the ONLY place that met my needs. They are fast, they are responsive, they can get you in quickly during an emergency, and they really care. I can’t recommend them enough.
Amazing experience! Kelli at the front desk was so helpful, professional and kind! Priscilla was amazing with my not so easy chihuahua. Dr. Berg was great and took such good care of Ziggi with his back issue. I highly recommend SMVG!
I asked the manager multiple times — not once, not twice, but several times — to give me the name of the traveling nurse who handled my dog on April 9, 2026. Every single time I asked, she changed the subject. If your staff has nothing to hide, why won't you identify who touched my animal? brought my dog to Santa Monica Vet trusting they would provide quality care. That trust was a mistake. Shortly after our visit, my dog suffered a seizure — something that had never happened before. Whether it was a reaction to something administered, a missed diagnosis, or negligent handling, I cannot say for certain, but the timing is impossible to ignore. I brought my dog to Santa Monica Vet and what happened next was completely unacceptable. A traveling veterinarian — someone I never met, never consented to, and was never informed would be treating my animal — stuck a needle into my dog without my permission. When I tried to find out who this person was, the manager refused to give me their name.
