Dr. Backus is incredibly disrespectful. I had brought my 15 year old daughter in to see him at the referral of a nurse practitioner in his office. She had diagnosed my daughter with bunions and after exhausting all angles to provide some relief, nothing helped. We had actually visited two different nurse practitioners in the group before being sent (by them) down the surgical route. Dr. Backus very rudely suggested that I was pushing for an unnecessary surgery and was acting as if I was going against my daughters wishes. Non... read more
Doctor was confident and made me comfortable with having surgery. He was thorough and answered my questions in their entirety. Staff are attentive and my surgical experience was pleasant. I was apprehensive about surgery; but this doctors bedside manner and expertise in the field eased my anxieties. I would recommend him to any ailing active adult.
If anyone is looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon, I would definitely recommend Dr. Jonathon Backus. After my initial consultation, and subsequently surgery with him, I walked away with his office / surgery room with with a better understanding of my treatment options and a piece of mind from a life-changing medical procedure. Dr. Backus made me confident in his diagnosis and medical decisions. For that, I fully endorse his services.
Wait time was a bit long but the caring attitudes of everyone including Dr Backus totally made up for it! Thank you for such great service...you're my Doc now!😁
