Dr Backus and his team are wonderful and I would highly recommend them for foot or ankle problems. Dr Backus listened and paid attention to me and my issues. Even when I couldn’t quite describe my pain, he was never dismissive or doubtful. He called in the right doctors to ensure we got the correct diagnosis before scheduling surgery. I was originally terrified to have my Morten’s Neuroma removed, but Dr Backus and his team gave me every bit of peace and reassurance I needed to go through with the neurectomy. And thank goodness I did! My foot pain has completely resolved, allowing me to return to every activity like running, hiking 14’ers, biking, and all my equestrian endeavors. Dr. Backus repaired my husband's ankle. He was excellent at explaining the procedure and making sure his questions were answered thoroughly. His staff is very well trained in communicating pre and post surgical instructions. He never felt rushed when he would see him in the office.
