Your Review: ***** Pro Athlete or Granny, Dr. Backus fixes them all! I would say run don’t walk to Dr. Jonathon Backus at Steadman Clinic…But wait, walking is probably a problem if you’re reading this. It was for me too. I was the wheel chair queen. Dr Backus did a number of procedures on my foot. All done at the beautiful and efficient Vail Hospital. As an elder I was afraid that my independent mobility was gone forever. Dr. BACKUS is great. I had a traumatic injury that happened in South Africa and the first physician I saw when I returned home was an alarmist. Whereas dr Backus was encouraging with a great bedside manner and helped me heal from a really traumatic injury. He also did my hardware Removal, which healed quickly and I’m back to the things I love. He and his staff always explained things in detail and listened to me and took my concerns seriously and treated me with care.
Great doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Backus as I have already done so.
Very grateful for Dr. Backus and his team! Madison, Kendall and Dr. Backus have all been amazing to work with and I feel so much confidence going into surgery with this team a second time. On top of Dr. Backus being an incredibly talented surgeon, the entire Steadman staff has treated me with a very high level of professionalism, competence and kindness throughout my ankle surgery, pre + post operative care.
Dr Backus was amazing. I had an injury with recovery spanning August to April with two surgeries, Dr Backus was kind, compassionate and correct every step of the way. I hope I never need to see him again, but if I get injured, he will be the first I call.
