Great surgeon, great communicator, and overall excellent staff and experience.
Dr. Backus restored my life. I was unable to walk without pain in my left ankle. After a complete ankle replacement, I am again enjoying the things I enjoy. I am now pain free and regaining strength and stamina. Thanks you Dr. Backus.

Dr Backus and his team are wonderful and I would highly recommend them for foot or ankle problems. Dr Backus listened and paid attention to me and my issues. Even when I couldn’t quite describe my pain, he was never dismissive or doubtful. He called in the right doctors to ensure we got the correct diagnosis before scheduling surgery. My surgery went well, he and his team were attentive, knowledgeable and professional.
