Dr. Yu is an outstanding hand surgeon and I am forever grateful for his skill and wisdom in my healing from a traumatic wrist injury. He masterfully operated on my open intrarticular fracture of the lower end of the right radius and within 10 weeks I had complete mobility and no pain. Thank you!
I saw Dr. Yu last year for my shoulder. He walked in looking annoyed, and he only saw me for 5 minutes. He didn't examine my shoulder or anything. He brushed off my symptoms as a "tense muscle" and told me to get a massage. In addition, he refused to do order an MRI and claimed it was "too expensive." I was on government health insurance at the time, so he was clearly discriminating me and didn't take me seriously.
