Dr. Koop is the best doctor I have ever had. There has been a lot of trauma in my life, not trusting men made it difficult to see a male doctor. But he is patient, understanding and very informative. He takes the time to explain whatever it is you are going through. He always made me feel as comfortable as any woman could be during an exam. He delivered all 3 of my children via c-section, and was great for post partum care as well. He has performed other surgeries on me as well being I have endometriosis and pcos. The one good say about Dr. Koop is he was somewhat friendly, however he was extremely dismissive of some very concerning symptoms I was having, even after fighting tooth and nail to have labs done, which came back abnormal. 5 days after getting my abnormal lab results and 2 times reaching out to the office, I finally received a message on mychart that Dr Koop wasn't concerned, no explanation, next steps, or even acknowledgement of the multiple abnormal lab results. He also told me at our very first meeting where I was 23 wee... read more
