Very thorough and caring
Dr. Lokey is an amazing doctor. He explains everything to you in terms that you understand. He answered all of my questions I had. He took his time with me and it was not a rushed appointment. At the end of my appointment, he made sure that we were clear on what was discussed. He said that he would see me in 2 years. But of course, if I needed him before then, do not hesitate to call. Dr Lokey is hilarious. Made me feel right at home and like I was among friends. Most personable doctor I’ve ever met. Takes all the stress off of doctors visits.
i had a biopsy done about 18 months ago. Nurse was wonderful, warm and caring. I was given local anesthetic. I did not get numb. The biopsy was done, i started crying at the end. Dr. Lokey turned to his resident and said, “ she’s just upset because she was nervous.” He walked out of the room, and the nurse was very sorry. . I felt disrespected and humiliated by Dr. Lokey, and I might add, I am in the medical field and I would never treat a patient like that. I have been told maybe he was having a bad day, no excuse.
