Dr. Samuels is one of the very few good and decent people you'll meet in a NYC hospital system. If you need a rheumatologist I would strongly recommend you see him.
I have been Dr. Samuels patient for about 17 years. After many years of symptoms, he diagnosed and treated me. He is an amazing physician. He is attentive, compassionate and proactive. When I have had flare ups that involved other specialist he immediately jumped on the phone with them to collaborate on how to get me better. He's responds via email within the hour. THE BEST!!!

He is extremely knowledgeable and if he does not know the answer, he will make an honest effort to find it which is not normally the case! Of all physicians, he is the one doctor that I have kept within my network regardless of tide changes.
