I told him that I was a few weeks into a colitis flare and he told me to wait a few weeks to see if it improves, then made an appointment for 3 months later. When I told him I needed more help, he referred me to a doctor in NYC.
Dr Resnick is tops in his field. Having seen him for numerous GI problems he has always been attentive, knowledgeable and compassionate.
If I was to rate based on being personable, I would rate him a 5 star. As it relates to actual health advisement, being attentive, responsive and follow-up, Dr. Resnick gets a 0/1. After 4 months and over $1k in out-of-pocket doctor bills after insurance to discover what was wrong with me, I was met with resistance for a "next step" answer or even a phone call (his office always called for him) as my condition worsened.
