Had surgery in November 2023 for septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I had an issue with the right nostril and had a tough time healing. This is a rough surgery. After seeing two ENT's in the local community, they both stated that Dr. Morgan used an "old school" method by "removing" my turbinates rather than reducing. Also, additional CT scans show NO centering of my septum. What did he do? The below is true about Dr. Morgan (he is and excellent surgeon) and I am so happy with my interactions with him pre and post op... However, this morning the office pulled $1800 out of my account and Mary in their finance/billing area was rude, repeatedly interrupted me and acted as if this was not a big deal. My balance due was $1200, to be paid in 2 installments of $600 (one today and one on 2/10), so pulling $1800 is stealing by definition. I went to Dr. Morgan after being referred by another Dr. in the ENT Associates Practice, who stated I had a deviation and nasal valve collapse. Dr. Morgan advised that I had no nasal valve collapse, but minimally reducing my turbinates' and correcting my mild deviated septum would correct my breathing (stuffy nose sensation). Immediately following the surgery and the splints being removed, I started experiencing a myriad of scary symptoms.
