We met with his team we were very impressed. They were professional and thorough kept us up-to-date on anything and everything that was happening. We did have a delay we had a delay because of complications, and he aired on the side of caution and safety. He performed surgery everything went well. He and his team have kept us up-to-date on absolutely everything I highly recommend him.
It was a very scary time for our family when my son who was 30 years old at that time was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2019. The whole process from pre-op to post-op was very satisfactory. My son’s whole bladder needed to be surgically removed and a neobladder was created for him. We were not even aware of what a neobladder was. Thanks to Dr Wright’s skills and expertise, my son had a successful major surgery. He clearly explained the procedure to us and we felt really reassured by him. Before Christmas met Dr Wright to discuss plans to treat Bladder cancer. The visit went well and we felt confident this was the right direction. Plans were made to address the cancer after the holidays but just after Christmas became very ill and needed medical attention as the bladder became blocked. We called, they told he was on vacation and they would call back. They said there wasn't another doctor taking his patients and gave us no options, not even come to ER. Have new doctor @ new hosp.
When the attending nurse told me that Dr. Wright was going to bring in a medical student into my cystocopy procedure for my bladder cancer, I declined that. In the past, another doctor did the same thing. And he let the medical student do part of the procedure which caused me physical discomfort. When Dr. Wright came in to do my cystocopy, I noticed his attitude towards me because I declined the presence of a medical student. I am his patient. Not a guinea pig for medical students!
Saw Dr Wright 2 months ago and he sent me to go get a Testosterone test. Results came back a few days later and didn't hear anything for over a week. I was told they would contact me with a follow up appointment once they had been received. Called them to make sure they got the results and when they said they hadn't I faxed them to them again and called to confirm they had been received. Over a month now and still nothing. I will find a different Doctor!
Dr. Wright was not only an outstanding Doctor, he was a remarkable person! Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable are just a few qualities we discovered with Dr. Wright. Although, he could not help us, as his cancer had metastasized, it is a moment in time, through this tragic journey, that we will never forget. We would recommend Dr. Wright, a professional job well done with an abundant amount of compassion.
