A few years ago, I had my first colonoscopy and I was really petrified about it and put it off. The staff and Dr. Goldstein did such a nice job that if I knew the experience would be so simple and painless, I wouldn't have waited so long. Not a great experience at all. Very unprofessional, they don’t return basic voicemails. Waited over eight months just to be seen and on the day of the endoscopy had an upper respiratory infection, called them up to let them know and to reschedule and no one even bothered to return the voicemail to reschedule. Clearly not a doctor genuinely interested in patient care, only looking to make a quick buck. It’s unfortunate that doctors try to run the business in this way..
I was being put under anesthesia for a procedure I knew little about. Nurses ended up yelling commands at me while I was being sedated and crying, completely unable to move. Ended up still being awake when they were shoving a tube down my throat, and was told to just sit down and lie back when I was struggling in panic and pain.
Doctor had to reschedule multiple times, and the first time I'd actually met him was when I was being put under anesthesia for a procedure I knew next to nothing about. Nurses ended up yelling commands at me while I was being sedated and crying, completely unable to move - no one cared, and Dr. Goldstein wouldn't even look at me the entire time, no introductions or explanation or anything.
