Jonathan has maintained the coatings on our log home since 2009, with beautiful results. When he is finished, our logs look like a fine piece of furniture. Understanding the nature of wood and all the conditions that can affect the coatings applied is a science that Jonathan understands. Jonathan has been my go-to guy for all of my household maintenance issues, even for things beyond painting. He analyzes each painting task deeply, he prepares and repairs the surface with fanatical precision, and he follows up carefully after the surface is painted. He's as honest as anybody I've ever met and his rates are very fair.
Our Church had a several decades old paint job that needed a thorough re-do after extensive smoke damage due to a fire. Jonathan worked with us on the color scheme, which was inspired by other Orthodox Churches. The color choices were bold but work well in an Orthodox Church. The plaster walls also needed some repairs. Both of those tasks were managed by Jonathan in excellent way. Jonathan is a knowledgeable, meticulous painter with wonderful attention to detail. He knows everything there is to know about paint and wood products and procedures and takes exceptional pride in his work. He has transformed my very plain turn-of-the-century house into a beautiful home inside and out through the application of historical wallpapers, borders, anaglypta, paint and stain on the interior and exterior. His "know-how" far surpasses that of other professional painters I have worked with in the past.
