Took my niece in with her mom because her pediatrician recommended it for a fever of 103. He told us that it's OK for a baby to sit for hours at 104 or even 105 without worry. He also said to me that "the body makes us hot on purpose, there's no magic number that's dangerous." So condescending, so dismissive. I work in a NICU and my niece's mom is an EMT and he spoke to us like we were stupid children that didn't understand anything. Our nurse and student doctor were lovely though.
