Sub ,turkey & provolone was great! BUT ,if I had not been starving ,I wouldn't have ordered or eaten there. It was dark, dismal & dirty... Crowded with tables, grill & kitchen area needed a deep clean.. Hallway to bathroom, which I decided not to use was really nasty dirty. This place is NOT representative of a Jon Smith restaurant for sure! Management/ owners/ inspectors need to examine this place.
The food is not the reason for the 3 stars. The steak bomb is great, however, the overall upkeep of the place has quite a few question marks around it. Overhead lights need replacing, the store lacks adequate air conditioning and I believe the store just needs a fresh deep clean. With these issues persistent, the atmosphere seems very depressing and unwelcoming. I don't blame that on the staff entirely as much as I blame that on the owner/general manager. 1st time having lunch here was a great experience. I'll be back again soon.
I'm updating my review, since, over the past 2 months, the quality of the food, and the service, has significantly improved. When calling in my order, my meal is ready in 10 minutes, and the sandwiches are cooked to perfection!
