Therapist conversations are supposed to be confidential (unless you are threatening harm to yourself or others.) Well, not so much with the unethical Mr. Picker. In one of my sessions with him, I mentioned that I had formerly been a heavy drinker. I now know that Mr. Picker violated confidentiality and reported this to my insurance company, because when I recently applied for disability and long term care insurance, I was denied and couldn't get coverage. Jon has helped me and my family during so many life events over the past years. He really does care about his patients and their families. His advice and guidance has helped us through the good and the bad that life can bring. He is very appreciated by all of us . Thank You Jon !

Dr. Picker literally saved my life as a kid. He was the only therapist who could ever get me to talk. I felt safe to open up as soon as a craft project was in front of me. As I got older, I could speak to him more freely without having to use art as a distraction. The only reason I stopped going to him was because I moved across the country. Fortunately he had given me the tools to fix myself. Since then I have come off all my medications, and I am a happy, successful, functional adult, mother, and wife.
