I have worked with Jolley Construction for the last 2 years on my bank owned properties. They do a amazing and very professional job on my bank owned poperties. After reading some of these responses I do not think people realize that with bank owned property we as agents and contractors go in and ask for certain things to be fixed. Those requests are ultimately the banks decision. Some banks choose to make those repairs but want the lowest amount to fix them. We didn't actually hire this contractor. We purchased a Fannie Mae home that they refurbished. We saw the home for the first time after the work was completed. It looked good on the outside and inside until we had a home inspector do the pre purchase inspection. The first thing he discovered was that there was water in the crawlspace. it had been a wet winter and ground water was high. A sump pump had just been installed in the crawlspace to solve the problem but they just dug a hole almost deep enough for a five gallon buck... read more

Jolley Construction performed siding replacement of the bank-owned house we were buying this summer. Just a couple of months later, we are paying about $2500 to have the (visible) problems with this installation fixed by a different company. Jolley apparently does not replace the original house wrap when replacing siding (in our case 20 years old). Supposedly they fix the holes and rips, but given how many other corners were cut, the wrap is certain to have many remaining perforations. There are numerous examples of problems... read more
