Don't Take Your Car Anywhere Else! I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I drive a 20 yr. old car, because I can't afford a better one. These wonderful businessmen keep it on the road for a fair price. They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need. Hands down, this is the most honest business I've ever seen. These guys are the kind of local business that we all need to support! Best auto shop. Ever!

Dependable and Honest Shop Paul and Fred (Joliet Transmission) were very reliable and great price for work I had done. They have worked on more than one car of mine. Transmission, engine and front end work. Very satisfied with all work done on my cars.

Absolutely the best! It's rare to find an auto shop that you can trust. Joliet Transmission is such a place. Paul and Fred are honest, hard working gentlemen that don't take advantage of customers. I've taken many vehicles to them and all have been completed in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. They don't just do transmissions. They've done oil changes, oil leaks, gas tank replacement, engine work and much more for me. Definitely a place you can rely on. Give them a try and you won't be dissapointed.

Joliet Transmission Rocks After having too many bad experiences with automotive shops in Joliet--I'm very grateful to have happened across Paul & Fred--they're honest, and ethical---they won't do any "unnecessary surgery" on your vehicle, just to line their own wallets.The shop is owned by Paul & Fred, and they do all of the work themselves---you don't have to worry about leaving your vehicle in the hands of someone inexperienced.
