I injured my right deltoid/rotator cuff area months prior to visiting Joint Ventures, leading to pain and discomfort whenever I tried doing any press-type movements. My goal was to rehabilitate the muscle and eventually get back into doing the same push workouts I used to do. Working with Clark was fun and productive; and after graduating from physical therapy, I can happily say I’m back to doing press movements, pain free.
I can’t recommend Phil highly enough. Months into training for an ultramarathon, I developed a hip injury (labral tears and bursitis) six weeks before race day. So far, great experience working with Phil Kobus at Joint Ventures Physical Therapy. Everything has been done seamlessly including check-in, insurance benefit verification and appt reminders. Phil followed up our first session with an e-mail that included a written summary of assigned exercises and short videos showing proper technique. I had the pleasure of working with Philip for the past two months for postural issues. He was very professional and I have not been in such good physical shape basically my entire life.
I had never had physical therapy previously, and I was a little apprehensive. As a follow-up to a knee injury I intended to go to PT at one of the major hospitals in Boston, However a family member who had utilized Joint Ventures (JV) in Boston for months strongly recommended that I go to JV instead.
