RecommendedI’m so glad we stopped by on the farm tour. Every aspect was amazing and we will be back. We made braised pork tenderloins last night and this is dinner tonight all thanks to Johnston’s. The employees and owner were so knowledgeable and friendly and all the food we bought has been great. Any time you are near Monticello, make sure to make a stop!!
We have purchased meat for years and the quality is always top notch. I picked up a prime rib roast today for a family birthday celebration, this was the best prime rib I have ever had. Thanks for providing a top quality product!
I just picked up my half cow this morning and I can't wait to try it out ! Got a big grain fed cow . Meat came labeled, vacuum packed, boxed in neat order . And the cinnamon rolls are awesome ! I will be back !

Today I placed a huge order to stock my freezer full of smoked and fresh meats at about 10 am. Order was ready at 4pm. I drove an hour just for this place! Curbside service with a smile! Tonight my son and I enjoyed smoke sausage for supper. It was WORTH the drive and every PENNY spent. Did I mention they have amazing doughnuts too!
I give this place 5 stars!! Excellent variety with meats and veggies, Quick response to large orders and very pleasant and friendly when you go in to pick up!! We will be doing more business there for sure!!!
Not one to bash but I've given this company months to right there wrongs, which I had there word that they would after misplacing 4 deer hams that were to be cubed in processing. Seems I have been put on the the back burner and told to be patient for over two months now. Also the other part of my order which was sausage took a month and a half to receive "started first week of November". I've had there deer sausage made for a few years now, but this batch came out horrible was smoked way to long... From now on I'll be doing ... read more
They have the best fresh and smoked sausage and their BBQ Boston Butt is delish! Love the bacon too. You will experience great friendly service as well.🙂
