I have been a patient of his for over 15 years. He is always very knowledgeable and up to date about current medical topics and very proactive regarding anything I may need. He is very good about taking time to explain things and answer questions. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him to anyone.
Excellent care, From the time I check in at the front desk to being seen by Dr. Johnston is about 10 minutes. In my mind this is exceptional. Dr. Johnston and his staff are courteous and always answer questions I have. I never feel rushed he takes as much time as needed to discuss my issues and come up with a plan of treatment. I would recommend Dr. Johnston.
I went to my first appointment yesterday. I didn't even get to set down and fill my paperwork out before I was called to triage. The nurse was extremely kind and got me into a exam room within 3 minutes of me arriving. After in the exam room, I didn't even get started on filling out my paper work before Dr. Johnston came in. He spoke me for at least 45 mins to an hour. I am extremely happy with him being my first family doctor. He was down to earth, very informative and understanding.
The family health group they practice with and the Dr's acceptance of new patients is HORRIBLE! When you call to set up an appointment they ask what medication you are currently on to see if they want to take you. I take very common meds with NO PAIN meds and was rejected. What a sorry excuse for medical care, if you take medicine dont bother with them picking and choosing patients, absolutely disgusting ethics, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
