Awesome Job by Johnston Millwork I contacted Johnston Millwork to have new windows and sliding glass door installed in my condo. They were awesome to work with, they provided all information to help me obtain permission from HOA and even came to the HOA meeting to answer questions and provide a sample. They did such a nice job and left my house very clean and orderly. I had anticipated the job lasting about a week, but they were done in a few days. Measured Twice and Cut Once Probably the most cautious and detail oriented off all the door and millwork shops around. They have never missed on any order I placed. I think you pay a little more, but usually the sevice is worth the pennies. I just wish they hadn't gone home early today 01/01/2009!
Be very, very careful.... Terrible quality, very poor customer service. I first used this company 13 years ago for our front door. It was not stain grade as had been specified - the owner came to our home to see it and agreed, but wouldn't do anything about it. I said I'd never use them again, but a few years later, our contractor talked us into ordering from them again. We were doing the work in phases, but wanted all the doors to match, so when I ordered the first 3 doors, I asked the salesman to make sure that the french ... read more
Johnston Millwork Inc is horrible the most horrible place i ever worked with. In the beginning wonderful, then they disappear, made a custom door that did not even fit. Would not return calls. Would say that they are coming, and did not.
