Really disappointed in the WIC department this time around. My toddler had to get his finger pricked to take his iron level. As any toddler would be, he was upset— and continued bleeding A LOT. It was getting everywhere and I could not get it to clot with the gauze the nurse provided. The nurse just stood there and didn’t attempt to help at all. My sons and I have always received wonderful care from JoCo health department and JoCo mental health department!! The health department also has it's own version of an urgent care too if you don't require a Dr but a physician asst or nurse will do. It great too!!
