Lovely place and even more lovely once the day trippers clear out. The bungalow was clean and well stocked, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and you can't beat the location!

Cabin is cozy and comfortable. Room is beautifully appointed and very inviting. Johnston Canyon is a busy place. Lodge is just beside it. The property ground is quiet. We went to canyon when everyone is having dinner, lesser people. We love our stay.

Had a fantastic time staying here for our honeymoon. We stayed in cabin 7 which is perched on a hill overlooking the river. We spent each morning of our 3 night stay drinking coffee on our deck and listening to the sounds of the river. It was serene. We had several meals at the restaurant below us and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Lovely place,26 minutes to lake Louise parking lot. That was the main reason we chose this location. Price was good for the high season and Banff proximity. Tap water is amazing- drinkable and very soft skin after shower. Room was warm, didn’t need heater at all. Room had a fridge and a hot water pot. You must either check in before 9pm(high season time) or show up next morning). As we were gone every morning before 5 am we opted for the first option. They provided second duvet by request, which was nice.
