I was looking for a reliable and reputable place to take my classic cars to for work on a regular basis. I was traveling home from jacksonville nc to statesville nc and broke a belt on my 2012 jeep wrangler, looked online and saw the great reviews for johnsons transmission so i gave them a call. Within minutes they had me on the roll back heading to the shop, after patiently waiting turns out my waterpump went out causeing the belt to snap. On our way from Canada to Florida, our car quit on I-95 in a traffic jam.We called AAA and were towed here and received excellent service and were on our way in few hours. Mr Johnson also got us a hotel room in very nice place. We appreciated the service and the honesty. We would recommend this garage. Thanks again Jack and Bev Stanley.
Rob D. I was stranded, broken down, and helpless. This company stayed open past their hours for me. When the part was not available anywhere, they helped me get somewhere to sleep the night. And to top it off, they worked on my car on the day they were closed. This place will treat you right. Choose no other place to get your car fixed.
We were about five hours from home when our car broke down. As a AAA members, we were given the name of Johnson's Transmission and Auto as a place that could give us assistance. Boy, were we pleased! As soon as the car was towed to this shop, we were given immediate attention from Mr. Johnson. Response to Phyllis M. from the owners of Johnson's Transmission & Auto: On Feb. 18, we had a new customer bring their Jeep to our shop for several repairs that included an oil leak, body repair on the right fender, and a problem with the transmission. We changed the oil, repaired and painted the fender, and rebuilt the transmission. They were given an oral estimate on the shop repairs over the phone and a body shop estimate via fax.
