Johnson's is a great place to get the whole family together and pick strawberries. We make a day of it and have strawberries for the whole summer. Great picking fields, friendly staff. And great selection of plants.
The only place I go to get quality flowers! Amazing varieties. Can't wait to get my hands in the dirt! Come on spring!!!!
I just started taking my daughter last year. We went to blueberry fest and had so much fun. The price of admission was very reasonable. I loved trying all the different samples in the tent. We will definitely be back this year!
I have taken my kids here for the Strawberry and Raspberry festivals..... My kids LOVE it!!!! We all have such a great time!! It is such a great family place. The festivals have become one of my favorite family activities. #makingmemories
From the delicious bakery right next store to the fun feats and you pick- Johnson’s is quickly becoming a destination you don’t want to miss. So much growth and fun addictions recently to add to the wonderful staple of fruit and vegetables that we all have grown accustomed. I will say a go to garden stop in spring to help you get a healthy, beautiful and overall wonderful selection of flowers!!!
Brought my children here and now the grand children. So many memories so much fun. Beginning of March and the phone calls have started. When are we going to the strawberry farm. Thank you and see you soon
We went to the fall fest last year and my kids had the best time. Well worth the price and all the activities were kid oriented and it wasn't crowded. We will def be back.
This is great family farm, the Johnsons have been producing strawberries here for 50 years. I'm glad to see the recent additions to make the farm family friendly . The new train and bounce pillow are awesome. Johnson's farm is a great alternative in northern lake county and not super crowded. I feel the entrance fee is a good deal, you get a real farm experience for the price of a "Happy meal" :)
My wife and I usually took our grand kids to Lowell, but when you live in Lake Station that's quite the drive with little kids, so we started going to county line orchard and it seemed liked they picked all the pumpkins then set them out in a field? We just happened to stumble across Johnson's and I have to say we had a blast!! they didn't have it set up very well for the handicapped but they brought a golf cart out to the parking lot and picked up my wife so she didn't have to walk all that way.
