Spectrum raises prices on existing customers as a business model after they hook you with low start price and lies.
I've had Spectrum for Internet service for about 8 years, and mobile service for about half that. I've never had any problems with either, and their customer service is always helpful. The only problems I've ever had come from my own end, Spectrum is always awesome. The reviews that complain about "20 minute wait times" or "power outage" issues, aren't Spectrum's fault. Had an appt for the one day I have off for months. Really needed internet. Waited around ALL day. Worked my day around it. Missed out on family event and spectrum never showed. I called to ask why. Said a tech would be out TONIGHT no matter what. Got a call at the end of the night that it wasn’t a “them” problem but a “me” problem and the appt was never confirmed , even tho it was confirmed days before alone with an hour prior to appt.
