Darrell Johnson is the best Arborist I know in the Payson tri- city area. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. Johnson Tree Service is very reasonable/affordable with pricing also along with getting the job done correctly. Communication skills and confidence are on point.

On 11/19 our neighborhood had a tornado. The town notified us that they would have a tree service come help clean up. Two guys from Johnson Tree Service showed up, took advantage of the confusion and stress and conned their way onto the property to cut the trees off my house. After they were "done" they handed me a bill for $2800. They left ALL of the debris they cut down in the yard. Who takes advantage of tornado victims and then only does half a job?

While I do believe these are skilled tree workers, after a freak tornado hit our street, they charged freakish high prices for minutes of work with no prior rates or verbal agreements to the cost. They did not disclose that they were an expensive private company charging for services that others were providing for free at the same time. Predators that took advantage of my neighbors after the star valley tornado. While many volunteers were assisting, 2 guys from this company went to my neighbor offering their help. They removed a tree in less than 30 minutes, then handed her a bill for over $2000. No estimate or contract. Disgusting they would take advantage of people.

The town of payson told my neighbors and friends that volunteers would come to assist removing downed trees after the tornado. This company sent two guys that offered their services, then handed my neighbor a bill for almost $3000 after they took only 30 minutes to cut down a tree. And didn't even remove it afterwards. Absolutely ridiculous.
