Took my mom to the ER last Sunday afternoon with excruciating lower back pain. They did a CT scan of her front chest to abdomen. They said they couldn’t find anything that would be causing the pain in her lower back. We took her to Franciscan ER on Tuesday afternoon because she was still in terrible pain. They took an xray of her entire back and spine and found a compression fracture in her lower spine. Not very happy with the care they gave my mom. Was told 5 different things before we had to leave. Saw Dr Smith twice. Once to tell us the 5 different things that could possibly happen and then to tell us his shift was over. We waited over an hour in hopes another doctor would give more information. No 0mom just had major surgery and is having issues and 12 hours later she's still in the ER with no answers.
