I’ve gone to the farmers market quite a lot since I’ve moved here. Today marks the first day I’ve been disappointed. Came home with 6 ears of corn and every single one had caterpillars eating away at the kernels. I’ll be more vigilant before I buy another ear, but don’t take it personally!

It’s okay but they’ve limited where vendors can get merchandise and unfortunately booth selection and quality isn’t as good. I drove to Roan Mtn to Peach Shed to get some great half runners and got some tomatoes. The last two batches of beans from JC just weren’t very good. I also drive down to 107 Hwy for other produce. This market just isn’t providing at least for me the choice I really want nor might I say the quality. Have shopped there for sometime but this year just not that good.
I love the JC FARMERS MARKET. Check it out if you have not already been there.
A great selection of local vendors to do my heart good! I couldn't be more proud of the Farmer's Market for making it what it is today. All the vendors are so friendly, so helpful, and pricing is always extremely reasonable. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the JC Farmer's Market!
