I would give this practice a zero if I could. Disrespectful staff in person, and forget on the phone interaction or any call backs- non existent. NP Mindy Poorman does not know how to treat or give feedback that is accurate or medically sound. I ended up in the ER from a reaction to a medication she prescribed. She responded by asking me “if I needed a hug”. In fact, I have 3 other friends that are in the same practice with a similar experience with Mindy Poorman. They have all left the practice. Wonderful clinic. I hardly ever wait more than a few minutes for my appointments in-person but they also offer virtual appointments. My physician is Mindy Poorman and she is legendary. I know I sound "paid" but I am not. I just like to see hardworking people in healthcare get the kudos they deserve. Had a new patient intake appointment for May, scheduled 3 months in advance. I caught COVID a few days before the appointment, and it was not going to clear early enough for me to not put their healthcare providers at risk. I called and informed them of this, hoping to move it to ANY physician within a few weeks. I was only offered appointments another 3 months out. Compared to the main hospital, this one has fewer patients, making it easier to schedule appointments and park, and the level of medical service is satisfactory. I have always been able to receive treatment without any complaints, and it is still the case now.
The customer service at this location couldn't be worse. They are unfriendly and ineffectual. On at least two occasions they have scheduled conflicting appointments and failed to notify me. Most recently, after my doctor cancelled my appointment on the morning of, when I showed up at the office they offered to re-schedule me three weeks out.
