Worst Garbage experience since moving into our new house in Oconomowoc WI. Watched the driver lie straight to my face after he set down the weekly garbage can on top of my grass garbage can resulting in a damaged can. I understand accidents happen, but he proceeded to drive off without acknowledging what happened and he finally did return (after he saw me walking his direction) and pushed the garbage cans closer to take a photo as if it was the homeowners fault due to placement of cans. First off, it's garbage. They don't pretend to be "green for life", and paint their trucks a "pretty green" and get "green" garbage cans, to "look" "eco friendly". The bottom line is, all garbage trucks dump at the same dumps in the area they serve. John's is the real deal, a quality service at the LOWEST PRICE I've found! What they do offer is a great, reliable service at a MUCH LOWER cost then most other waste removal services in the area. That service includes large items picks ups too!! John's customer service was great when the new driver accidentally missed picking up my recycling. I called and the driver returned within a half hour to pick up my recycling. Thanks guys!!
Completely useless for bulk pick-up services. Scheduled a pickup, which included a large fish tank. I stressed to the receptionist that the tank was 100#. She said no problem. Went out in the AM to see the fish tank still there. Called, and the receptionist had no idea why it wasn't picked up. Rescheduled me for a week later. Driver again refused to pick up. The receptionist called me back and said it was too heavy for the driver. The funny thing was, the first visit, they picked up the tank to remove a board and sled undern... read more
Never pick up on Bulk days and I have to call multiple times. And still no pick up!
