Our condo association switched to John’s 2 weeks ago. They will pick up the trash but not recycling. Today I decided to flank my nice large Blue John’s Recycling bin with 2 bags of trash. Both trash bags are gone but the full recycling canister remains. Maybe third time is the charm
I don't even know where to begin with how blown away I am by the quality of customer service with this branch. I had something EXTREMELY VALUABLE that was accidentally recycled and wasn't realized until they had already been there to pick it up. Frantically, I called the office and spoke to Laura who made my problem her problem. She truly cared. She told me that the trash had already been dumped but they may be able to find it since it was recycle- for those in the reviews who say they're the same, I assure you they're not. ... read more
Now I edit this review. I'm so glad that we got an excellent service since we moved in 8 years ago. I can see they improved a lot. Keep it up
For the past 8 years, I have put all bulky items for bulk pick up on both sides of the street. This has never been a problem. Today, they only picked up on on side of the street. When I called, they said that's considered a second pick up and that I would have to pay. No where on their website states that all bulk items should be on one side of street. update - They refunded me the second pick after the Director of Public Works contacted them.
Very disappointed in the service on 12/31/24. Trash was not picked up in AM as scheduled ,so after calling in at 3:10 PM I was told they would have someone come back. Original driver said he had pickup at 10-11 AM. Nobody showed up!!! .
