Dr. Brown listens and engages to understand your entire health picture. Every staff member there was pleasant to deal with from the front desk to labs to check out. I highly recommend this office & Dr. Brown.
I was very disappointed with my care from Dr.Brown. Despite multiple abnormal labs — including a strongly positive SS-A antibody (diagnostic for Sjögren’s syndrome) and abnormal thyroid antibodies (TPO and TSI) — I was told “everything looks fine” and that the Sjögren’s result “just means someone in your family has it.” This is not correct. I love Dr. Brown. He is clear he spends time with his clients and listens. But don't look for him to be easy on you. He helps with our health, love to help you find whats wrong.
I have seen Doctor Brown for many years! This year however the staff has changed and they have dropped the ball. They staff has rescheduled my appointment twice without me calling or emailing to cancel my appointment, and now I am having to go without my medication b/c they decided to cancel my appointments. Dr. Brown is an amazing Doctor but his staff has dropped the ball and I’m having to reconsider carefully. I hate to loose him as a doctor but I’m the one suffering b/c the staff canceled my appointment.
After looking for a good rheumatologist for literally 3 plus years I was referred to Dr. Alvanpour. First her staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, they have always gone above and beyond to help work with my schedule. Her nurses are very personable and easy to communicate with. Now Dr. Alvanpour, she is a breath of fresh air. She listens, is very matter of fact and takes the time needed to genuinely help.
