I had a terrible experience at Johns Creek Spa and would strongly advise people to think twice before booking here. I was solicited by phone with a promotional offer for an $80 massage, which sounded like a good deal at the time. Unfortunately, the experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. My wife and I had (2) 80 min Swedish massage Groupons we bought based on the reviews and showed up 10 minutes early as requested. We were greeted cordially and asked to fill out some paperwork. Is it just me, or do these forms seem outdated and unnecessary at this point? Employer information, DOB…it all seems unnecessary and frankly, a risk to put on any random form. This place is very close to where I live, hence I forced myself to like it so I can enjoy the spa experience, no matter what, I keep getting disappointed, one time they force more tip because I went with a Groupon and another time, they don’t change the appointment time even after calling it way before to reschedule and redeem the coupon without any notification. I tried to like it unfortunately not.
Place was nice and everyone (besides Jeff) at the spa was super nice and welcoming. However, Jeff was very rude and condescending. I can’t believe I spent so much on a massage to be treated like that. Do not recommend him as a masseuse.
