John is an incredibly hardworking, honest, diligent and talented chimney sweep. He cleaned my chimney today. We had a bee infestation this Spring and he cleaned out dead bees and did an incredible job. He is very neat (lays out drop cloths and runs a shop vac to keep the dust from escaping). I have worked with his company for ten years. John and his associate came out to sweep the chimney in our new home this week. I have never had a wood-burning fireplace before, so I didn't know what to expect. He was very thorough, and took the time to explain what he was doing and why it needed to be done. Like the previous poster said, he set up a large sheet and shop vac, then put plastic around the chimney so that no dust would escape into the house.
