I've been going to the LaMesa location for yrs. Great service, honest and excellent work. They are are awesome !
I received outstanding service from John’s Automotive. Their lead person, Jay communicated in a clear and timely fashion regarding all aspects of my car repair. Their digital diagnostic reports were easy to understand and very helpful. In addition, all the staff were very personable and professional. I plan on recommending their auto repair shop to my friends and family.

From the moment Jay answered the phone and listened attentively through to the moment that my brakes were repaired, John’s Automotive was “top notch” service! They are friendly, caring, clean, reasonably priced and even gave me a ride home and picked me up again when my car was done!
I brought my car in to have two issues diagnosed: a noise from the engine compartment during a cold start, and a burning smell that occurs only in stop‑and‑go traffic once the engine is fully hot. Only the first issue was looked at, and even that wasn’t properly evaluated because the condition wasn’t recreated — the noise only happens after the car sits overnight.
