Johnny usually gets the job done, including fixing the alignment on the frame of my bent Subaru by welding. However, he is chatty, and consequently expensive. Once he adjusted my rear drum brakes so tight they smoked on the Palisades Parkway.At a friend s suggestion, I switched to John s Carriage Service and was pleasantly surprised by the low cost and quality work.
I have taken my car, as well as my wifes to Johnnys a number of times for basic repairs, tires, brakes, etc. And each time he treats us with complete respect. He is fair in his pricing, quick with the work, and very informative on what he has done. he never does more work than is necessary. Excellent experience.
