Grand Forks is a small town that if you blink as you go through, you might miss it. There is a cute little place called Johnny's Motel at the end of town. I was going to be driving through Grand Forks and Johnny's Motel was a perfect place to stop for the night. The previous reviews of "make-over" of this motel are absolutely accurate. I wouldn't recommend this place. Rooms were nice enough for the price. I was overcharged for my stay. I tried to call them to get it sorted out and after around 7 left voicemails, I gave up. I know I have the right number because I talked to them through that number a couple times during the stay. I believe they're choosing not to call me back because they don't want to correct the charge. Very unfortunate.

I've stayed here before and it was decent. Unfortunately the rooms are not sealed well, and someone smoking outside late at night came straight into my room and stunk the whole place up. Hard to sleep after that. Tried to book there again. They don't answer their phone, so I was forced to book two rooms for two nights elsewhere.

Booked through a 3rd party and it was not communicated to motel but they accommodated and gave us an upgraded room at the same rate. Disappointing that the pool was closed this year due to repairs and it was not posted on their site or upon check in. There was a small sign on the doorway. Stayed 3 nights but did not have anyone come in to replenish towels/coffee etc.
