We have had to call for a wrecker several times over many years and always call Johnny's Wrecker service! He works with you and works with your insurance too! Since we have been using hid service we have gotten to know his Auto selling dealership also. He is a certified mechanic and no matter what auto He is selling, he goes thru them with a fine toothed comb! He does sll our mechanic work and we have NEVER had a problem! Johnny’s automotive Wrecker Service is a great place to shop. Johnny is a mechanic and has been for 55 years. He checks out these cars before they go out if something happens to them after they go out these cars are sold as is and that’s what a lot of people doesn’t understand if they get out there and hot rod them they probably will tear up. These cars are not new cars so I’d appreciate the bad comments to quit being put on our website. Thank you.
My car broke down in Spur, TX on a road trip back to Austin. I was in a bind in the summer heat (had my dog with me as well) until Johnny drove the 85 miles to come and give me a tow. I was worried about needing to bring my dog with me in the truck, but Johhny was super friendly and helpful as he drove both of us back to the Lubbock area. We got the car up on his flat bed and drove it all the way to his shop. He then got in another car and drove us to our hotel that we booked to spend the night, which was above and beyond. 3 days after buying, car overheated. It had NO OIL IN IT. NONE. It wasn't leaking. They just neglected to put oil in it. Overheating caused head to warp. Paid $4k for a car that lasted 3 days. Dealership kept avoiding calls, wouldn't return messages, and refused to try to make it right. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
