I’m was barber student at Johnny Matthews, and on my way out the door. What I’ve enjoyed most about this school is learning the art of fading from the other students, several of whom started cutting friend’s hair in high school, and bring a lot of prior experience. In part because the barbers work together in “barber alley,” there is a definite barber culture, which I’ve enjoyed. Aden doesn’t tip when ordering food. Considering the parking and that I had to walk 2 blocks to get there and the fact that they accept tips of their own at this establishment makes this extremely rude and unthoughtful

I would highly recommend this place. The hairdressers are very polite and respectful. I also appreciated them taking time and not rushing the process. I will be bringing hubby in for a hair cut next week.

I have less than a month remaining to complete my hair design Course. In this time, JM has made me feel so welcomed and inspired. I was extremely happy with how our theory teacher Hailey tailored her curriculum to fit every student’s learning needs. Between Tamera, Johnny, Katie, and my peers, they have all pushed me to be the Hairstylist I am today. I have learned so much and feel so much love and support when I walk through those doors.
