I don't know how this company is still in business! Hired them 4 years ago for a move from Hillside to Elmhurst and it was a nightmare! Several pieces of furniture broken and left a hole in a wall from trying to get a wardrobe upstairs. They demanded payment before they would unload the truck and because they took several cigarette and lunch breaks, they determined that they were done at 6pm and neglected to unload the final truckload of a 20 foot truck. I had a great experience 8 years ago with this company. I had 2 movers that moved me from North lake to Elmhurst. I put a deposit of $50.00 down in advance. I was quoted $200 for 3 hours and anything over would be an additional $75 per hour. I paid $290 ( including tip) I will be using this company again soon.
The worst experience, do not hire them they are horrible. Closed on my first home and they threw my stuff outside in front of my new home due to a misunderstanding about me needing to pay them cash once the items were at the front door .
THIS MOVING COMPANY SUCKS!!! They were hours late, showed up with less men than promised and took absolutely forever. They said they were taking a 30 min break and were no where to be seen or heard from for over an hour. They also broke my deceased grandmothers desk, and argued with me that it wasn’t broken. When I complained to them, they continued to argue that it wasn’t their fault and that the desk was already like that (this desk has been in my family 50 years). Movers damaged my night stand beyond repair, broke the edge of my my dining table and chip bed footboard. Then had the nerve to offer me $30.00 for the the damges. Do not do business with them.
