One of the worst fish and chips and clam chowders I have ever had. The clam chowder was a thick, gluey liquid that seemed loaded with food thickeners rather than real ingredients. It did not taste like authentic clam chowder at all. The fish and chips were just as disappointing. The fish was buried under the thickest breading I have ever seen, leaving very little actual fish inside. Overall, the food felt heavily processed and lacked quality. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.
I have not been to Johnny ads in a long time,so I went yesterday and was sooo dissapointed!!my lobster roll was so soggy it fell apart,my fried scallops were not cooked all the way,the batter was still raw and slid off the scallops and lastly the clam fitters had not one clam!!!!!I paid a nice tip and paid a nice price for food that was not fit for consumption, I'm really dissapointed because I've always heard good things..will not be returning.....sorry Johnny's........
