I ordered take out of a gluten free super beef 3- way. I am from out of town and my brother who lives on the north shore mentioned this local delicacy to me. After much research, I found Johnnie’s to have an excellent gluten free protocol (separate grill area even for the toasted bun). They even had a gluten free onion roll. We ordered the large roast beef sandwiches and boy did they deliver. The sandwiches were were huge and the roast beef was perfectly rare!! It was almost like eating steak tartare. If you're looking for an amazing, super satisfying sandwich, look no further. This place is worth the drive!!

Run don’t walk here. This is hands down the best roast beef sandwich i’ve ever had AND i could have it on a GLUTEN FREE ONION ROLL. It was so good that I actually cried. The fries were also perfectly crispy and well seasoned. All of the staff were also so nice and knowledgeable. I will be back here in a heartbeat and telling everyone who will listen about this place.
