Once again, the wings were absolutely delicious. And the pizza as well. Both exceed my expectations and I will continue to come here. Would also recommend for others to try.
This is a really cute little restaurant with a lot of history. It's definitely not a fancy place, but the dining area was very clean. There were three young people working there and they all had really great customer service. Coming from Tucson, it's really common to see young people looking at their phones at work or having scowls on their faces, making it clear that they don't want to be there and certainly don't want to wait on you. What a hidden gem. I have lived on the mountain for a few years and tied Johnnie D for the first time. I have many regrets of not trying sooner. My family had ordered pizza and a pasta dish. The pizza was excellent. The toppings are fresh and delicious the crust was flavorful but not bready. The pasta was a generous serving offering a great value for the cost. Beyond the food the service was great. The wait staff checked in but not excessively provided a very comfortable relaxing experience.
