Dr Sealander gave my husband no hope & probability of dying within 3 months. No medical management was recommended by him. "There is no treatment for dementia, what do you expect?" Well, there is no cure but there are medications to prevent the disease from getting worse. Dr Sealander made no recommendations in preventing further progression of Dementia. He was rude & condescending to us. Zero bedside manner! Asking me, "what do you expect me to do, your husband has dementia!" I would NEVER recommend this MD to any patients ... read more
Very brusque, hurried manner. Explains more of what he won't do/prescribe than diagnosing what the issue may be. Saw multiple times for nausea/vomiting/abdominal pain and chest pain and was told to seek mental health services. No labs or tests were ordered, or even suggested. I lost 65 lbs due to vomiting for over 10 months, CT scan at ER showed that my stomach had herniated up through my diaphragm and would require surgery to repair. A test or referral would have saved me months of misery.
