John made it so I could live again! I had a muscle spasm that made my life impossible. John fixed it. Now I have a new ailment and he’s fixing that too! Highly recommend !

Not your average massage. John has a modest space, good music and expert technique. He blends active stretching with dynamic massage to improve range of motion and alignment. Worth it to book a full 90minutes.

I went to see John with the usual host of issues that a guy in his mid-50s would bring; the "clenched fist" of muscles running up the right side of my back, the tension running along the base of my skull, etc., etc. I caveated my first visit with, "I'm starting with a chiropractor but I'm here as an adjunct to their work". John took it all in stride. In looking back I now see that I should have taken the exact opposite approach. The chiropractic treatments "worked" great each morning I had an adjustment. I just saw John at the first time for my increasing painful shoulder for an orthopedic massage, and I already feel so much better. The tension in my shoulder muscles feel at least 50% reduced. Already scheduled my next appointment. John is very professional and highly skilled in sports/orthopedic massage! Highly recommend him!

I am a retired pediatrician and have been a client of Mr. Wood for over 10 years. He listens to his clients before beginning the session and has the considerable experience and knowledge to work the problem presented. Whether I need a relaxing massage or more extensive deep tissue or sports related work, I have been very pleased with his results.
