I have being seeing Dr. Wanebo and Julie for the past 9 years. They are very kind, empathetic & I consider them to be My Family. He has saved my life 3 times because I have a rare brain disease called Moya Moya disease. It is the best office and highly recommend Dr. Wanebo for anyone who needs brain surgery. He is one of the best in the country in my opinion & trust him with my life …. Literally!! And Julie is the kindest, most sweetest woman and She cares about her patients. BEST OFFICE BAR NONE
Unfortunately in March 2020, he operated on my mom’s brain tumor and she woke up paralyzed and pooping her pants. They discharged her after a few days with no answers and no help. My mom walked in totally normal and was wheeled out in diapers. A few weeks later at a follow up I asked doc what the heck happened. He just kept repeating “this is not a common outcome” over and over. I got so frustrated and my mom decided she wanted to just leave. We left mid doctor appointment. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Wanebo and his team. He was very thorough when explaining my condition, met with my family multiple times, was patient when we asked ALL the questions and took the time to answer them in detail. Brain surgery is a scary thing- but I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. Gentle, caring, empathetic. Also shoutout to Julie for all of her patience, cheer, and positivity!
