Dr. McClary always takes the time to listen. I have been seeing him for around 15 years and he along with his staff are the most professional there is.
After waiting 7 months for my appointment for jan. 27th, They cancelled my appointment and can't get next appointment until Sept., I like Dr. Jackson, but not at that price.....
On some issues, he’s on top of it. Takes care of my diabetes well, and will help when I have a cold or ickies. But, do not question about anything else. He did catch a fatty liver, but said just ignore it. Still have lots of pain and trouble sleeping. He does a test or two here or there, but when those come back okay, you’re suddenly cured of pain and whatever else might be troubling you. If it requires effort, he’s not your guy.
Listens, easy going, cooperative
I am not in a position to evaluate his competency as a physician. However, I have dealt with him on several occasions on a personal basis, and he comes across as arrogant, dismissive, a smart alek, and a know-it-all, though he can be congenial when in the presence of co-workers and fellow Indians.
I had emergency surgery, after not having Lypo surgery & needing full surgery because of complications. Sonfield told me not to drive for 2 weeks & not to eat greasy foods. The day of discharge he told me to drive myself home since I drove myself to the hospital & go home & have fried chicken. I repeatedly informed him that I was having issues, he said I worry to much. Most caring MD I have met in a long time Give me peace of mind that he would work with me until I was healed! This helped me heal.
My husband was very satisfied with Dr Young & the results of his hernia surgery. He had very little downtime or pain. As a patient you must do your part also. We highly recommend and would use again.
I planned to have surgery with an endometriosis specialist out of state and Dr. Schindler asked to do my post-op when I discussed this with her. She even wrote my insurance a letter so I could see this specialist. She was excited and happy for me at the time. When I finally saw Dr. Schindler for my post-op she acted indignant that I'd seen someone else and told me how she should have done the surgery.
